Offers for Adults
“To practice any art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow. So do it.”
Blue Mouse Gallery aims to create an intergenerational community. Children need adults - as caretakers, as teachers and mentors, and as friends. In turn, they will help us find our inner child if we get lucky.
During Family Time, adults are invited to create art together with their children.
But we also have events for adults only. Join us for creative social events and check out our adult German classes below!
Make Art & Friends (18+ years)
Come to Blue Mouse Gallery to make art and meet new friends! Experience making art as a social creative process without judgement or evaluation. No artistic experience or skills are required. Our art projects will be fun and open-ended, so you decide how much attention you pay to detail and when your project is finished. Let go of perfection and have fun!
This is a social event in a relaxed atmosphere and we will use conversation starters and games to get to know each other and make everybody feel welcome.
Please sign up ahead of time to help us plan the event. Walk-ins are welcome but may be subject to some improvisation if we run out of art materials.
Every third Wednesday of the month at 6-8pm (next event September 17th)
$40 per person, materials and basic snacks included in price
What to bring: dress casually in clothes that are easy to clean (even adults enjoy messing around sometimes), water bottle or soft drink (optional)
The Art of German
We teach in-person German language classes that are fun and focus on communication. Learn how to talk about culture and the arts in German while working on grammar skills and building your vocabulary. Blue Mouse Gallery provides a low-pressure, non-judgemental learning environment.
All classes are taught by a highly experienced native speaker who has many years of experience teaching adult and university language classes at all levels.
