Classes for Ages 8-12

Session 1: September 6-October 17, 2025

Mixed media: Make a sea creature

Choose a sea creature and make a cardboard sculpture of it - will it be a shark, a whale, an octopus, or a creature of your phantasy? To give it a home, we will paint an ocean background exploring abstract art.

  • Class time: Monday 5:00-6:30pm

  • 6 classes per session: 9/8, 9/15, 9/22, 9/29, 10/6, 10/13

  • Cost: $270 (materials included)

    If you enroll more than one child, pay the full price for one class, then apply our 10% sibling discount to all other children’s art classes. In case of different program fees, the higher-priced program has to be paid in full. Use coupon code SIBLING during checkout for the discounted class.

  • What to bring: wear clothes that can be washed easily in case it gets messy (we have smocks), water bottle (optional)

Painting: How to use perspective

Discover how to use size and different shades of a color to show how far away things are, and learn what a vanishing point is. We will explore one-point perspective drawing objects and painting landscapes.

  • Class time: Wednesday 3:30-5:00pm

  • 6 classes per session: 9/10, 9/17, 9/24, 10/1, 10/8, 10/15
