This half-day program will be taught in German and is set up exclusively for GISB students who are on fall break during the week of October 13-17. Naturally, German-speaking guests are welcome. The program will run daily from 9am-12pm with the option of extending the time to 1pm to eat lunch together.

The program is open to children currently in class levels 1-3. A minimum enrollment of 3 students each day is required to run the program (deadline Saturday 10/11 at noon). It is limited to 10 students.

Blue Mouse Gallery is a children’s art studio and gallery in East Cambridge. We will offer a different activity for every day of the week, exploring a variety of materials and techniques. All projects will be open-ended with a strong STEAM component throughout. Beyond the daily creative theme, children will be free to work on their individual projects over several days if they attend more than one day. Possible day projects would be designing and building a town together, basic printmaking, collages, but also challenges like what can you make out of a sock? Friday will be dedicated to Halloween-themed arts and crafts.

During the regular 3 hours, we will spend time outside at Donnelly Field, have a snack together (bring from home or get a small nut-free snack from us), and work on our creative projects.

• Program time: Mon-Fri 9am-12pm, with possible extension to 1pm

• Cost: $60 per day / $275 for 5 days / 1-hour extension: $10 per day

  1-hour extension is available on a day-by-day basis. Please bring your own lunch and pay the additional fee separately from general program fees. In order to schedule extra time, send us an email with the days you would like to extend. In our confirmation email we will send you a payment link to pay the fee online, or you can pay directly at the studio during drop-off in the morning (credit card, Apple Pay, check, or cash). Children can extend their stay on all or any of the days they attend the program.

  If you enroll more than one child, register and pay the full price for the first child, then apply our 10% sibling discount when you register the sibling separately. Use coupon code SIBLING during checkout for the discounted fee.

• What to bring: wear clothes that can be washed easily in case it gets messy (we have aprons), bring a warm layer and comfortable shoes to spend time outside, water bottle, nut-free snack, lunch for extended stay
