Registration for Elementary Art Club

Program Overview

Blue Mouse Art Club generally follows the calendar for Cambridge Public Schools. Art Club starts on or after the first full school day for the corresponding grades.

First days of Art Club 2026-2027:

  • Junior Art Club Monday: September 14, 2026 (no Art Club on Labor Day)

  • Junior Art Club Tuesday: September 8, 2026

  • Elementary Art Club Thursday: September 3, 2026

On no-school days, we do not offer Art Club unless indicated otherwise. Once the CPS calendar is finalized, we will list specific dates here.

In case of inclement weather, we cancel Art Club if Cambridge Public Schools are closed for the day or close early for the afternoon. We will send notifications as early as possible to the email contacts on file.

If we have to cancel the program for reasons beyond our control, we will inform parents as early as possible via email.

Registration Process

Step 1: Application

Use the link below to fill out our online application form.

Step 2: Confirmation

Once we receive your application, we will send you an email response confirming that we have a spot for your child available. Expect to hear from us within 24-48 hours (excluding weekends).

Please hold your payment until you hear from us!

Step 3: Payment

After you receive a positive response from us, we will hold your child’s spot for 3 full business days (72 hours) until we receive or arrange your payment.

Please choose a payment option below.

We do not take payments for pickups at King Open School at this point ($50 per program day for the half-year term). We will collect these payments later, when transportation schedules have been finalized and confirmed.

If you would like to apply for a scholarship to pay a reduced program fee (we are unable to offer free participation at this point), please send us an email with detailed responses to the following questions:

1) Describe your family’s financial situation. How much would you be able to pay monthly for your child’s participation in Art Club?

2) Describe your child. Why do you think they would be a great fit for our program and deserve a scholarship for Art Club?

Pay for Elementary Art Club (Thursday only)

Option 1: Monthly online payment

  • Pay a non-refundable down payment of $250 for the last month of the term to claim your spot in the program

  • For September, October, November, and December we will send you an online link for your monthly payment of $250. You will receive the link around the 15th of the prior month, payment is due on the 1st day of each month.

Option 2: Discounted full-term payment

  • Pay the complete amount of $1,125 for the half-year term (September-January). The payment includes a non-refundable down payment of $250 for the last month of the program.

Option 3: Arrange payment by check

  • For check payments we are happy to grant a discount for avoiding our online provider’s processing fees. Please send us an email to arrange delivery of the check in person or in the mail.

    • Monthly check payments: bring/send us a check for $245 to cover the non-refundable down payment for the last month to save your spot. Bring a check for your $245 September payment on the first day of the program. For each following month, a check payment of $245 is due on the first of the month.

    • One-time check payment: bring/send us a check for $1,100 to pay in advance for the half-year term. This payment includes a non-refundable down payment of $245 for the last month of the term.
